John Goding, VP

John Goding

John serves as vice president of Huber Resources Corp. (HRC) and Sewall Forestry & Natural Resource Consulting (SFNR). He oversees client relations, business development, timberland dispositions and acquisitions, and the overall management of both organizations. John also provides strategic oversight for manufacturing operations, partnerships, and regional relationships in the Northeast for Huber Engineered Woods LLC.

John brings more than 25 years of management experience across multiple divisions within the Huber family of companies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Maine and is a Licensed Forester for the State of Maine.

Chris Washburn

Chris serves as the Director of Finance for both HRC and SFNR. In this role, Chris oversees financial operations, manages cash flow, and ensures compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

Chris has over 30 years of extensive expertise in financial management and strategic planning, including budgeting, financial reporting, and investment analysis. Before joining HRC in 2002, he spent several years with a large regional accounting firm specializing in client financial audits.

Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maine. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Notary Public.

Trevor London, Director of Operations, Northeast

Trevor London

Trevor serves as the Director of Operations – Northeast, where he collaborates with clients and managers to develop and implement strategic operational goals. In this role, he provides leadership and oversight of forestry operations throughout the region. 

Trevor brings more than 25 years of experience in forestry operations management. Over the course of his career, he has held roles including Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, and District Forester, giving him broad, extensive expertise in procurement, management, forestry logistics, and operations. His professional experience spans Alabama, Florida, Vermont, and New Hampshire. 

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine and is a Licensed Forester in the State of Maine.

Chris Fink

Chris serves as the Director of Operations – Lake States. In this role, he provides leadership and oversight for forestry operations across the region, working closely with clients and managers to support strategic operational and land management objectives. 

Chris has been in the forest consulting business since 1992 and brings extensive experience in forest inventory and land management nationwide.  He has served as the lead forester on more than 1,000,000 acres of inventory projects across Pennsylvania, New York, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. He has also been the lead land manager for numerous clients throughout the Lake States.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Northland College and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Michigan Technological University.

Dan Lewia, Marketing Manager for Southern Operations, OK and TX

Dan Lewia

Dan is the Marketing Manager for Southern Operations – Oklahoma and Texas. In this role, he supports forestry operations while working with clients and internal teams to develop timber procurement strategies, marketing programs, and operational initiatives throughout the region. 

Dan brings more than 30 years of experience in timberland management across Maine, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Georgia. He has managed large industrial timberland tracts in Maine, and  since 2000, has played a key role in building the company’s southern operations, leading stumpage purchase programs, GIS implementation activities, silvicultural programs, and acquisition/divestiture efforts for private landowners.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Maine and is a Licensed Forester in the State of Maine. 

Todd Bishop

Todd serves as the Technical Services Group Manager at Huber Resources Corp. and Sewall Forestry & Natural Resource Consulting, bringing over 20 years of experience in technical services management to his role. He is responsible for overseeing GIS operations, managing forest inventory applications, and leading system development projects. Todd also plays a key role in forest management planning and market research, ensuring that our technical services align with industry standards and client needs.

Throughout his career, he has successfully applied his expertise to the commercial real estate sector by developing tools and practices that enhance the efficiency and capabilities of appraisal teams.

Todd holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Forestry from Michigan Technological University, underscoring his strong foundation in the field.

HRC Operations Managers

The operations managers at HRC oversee sustainable forestry operations and support operational objectives across regions. Through collaboration with landowners, clients, and the HRC teams, operations managers implement effective land management practices and safe timber operations. Responsibilities include timber harvest planning, road construction, carbon project implementation, and wildlife habitat enhancement.

Tony Derleth

Tony serves as the Operations Manager for Wisconsin. 

Tony brings more than 25 years of experience as an industrial forester and consultant in the Lake States. Since 2012, he has managed 65,000 acres in northern Wisconsin, including a 30,000-acre carbon easement.  His current responsibilities extend to managing more than 200,000 acres across the region, providing tailored forestry solutions to meet diverse landowner goals. 

Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Jim O'Malley, Operations Manager in Maine

Jim O’Malley

Jim serves as the Operations Manager in Maine. 

Jim brings more than 40 years of experience in the forestry industry. He began his career as a Field Forester and advanced through roles including District Forester, Senior Operations Forester, and Regional Forester. His extensive experience provides a strong foundation in forest management and operational leadership. 

Jim is a Licensed Professional Forester, a Licensed Wood Scaler, and a member of the Forest Stewards Guild. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Forest Technology from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of University Studies with a concentration in Forest Management from the University of Maine.

Dave Boehlke

Dave serves as the Operations Manager in Michigan. 

Dave began his career in 2012 as a Seasonal Inventory Forester and progressed through several operational roles before assuming his current leadership position. Through his extensive experiences, he has developed strong expertise in forestry operations, inventory, and land management. 

Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Management and a GIS Focal Certificate in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. He is a certified Michigan Registered Forester.
